Chemical Peels

Eva Aesthetica offers two fantastic Chemical Peels to renew and rejuvenate the skin - Retinol and Glycolic. Which one? Let’s have a comprehensive online consultation, and we’ll be able to advise on the best option to deliver the optimum results. But in the meantime, please find a little on each peel below.

Retinol-based Peels: Retinol is a form of vitamin A, which is often found in skincare products as it encourages the generation of new skin cells. Retinol is comprised of tiny molecules, which means they are able to penetrate deep into your epidermis, working throughout the layers to deliver short term results and longer term benefits. This peel has the effect of renewing the cells and unclogging pores, which makes a Retinol peel a fabulous choice. Retinol is also intensely hydrating, simultaneously boosting skin plumpness and elasticity whilst slowing down the depletion of collagen, ensuring that this peel works well on ageing skin too, targeting fine lines, skin laxity and wrinkles.

Glycolic Peels: This superficial peel is primarily used to exfoliate and encourage rejuvenation, targeting fine lines, acne scarring and pigmentation on the surface of the skin. Visible results are instant, and this treatment requires little or no downtime, depending on the concentration of the Glycolic solution used and the patient recovery. Glycolic peels can be used on the face, neck, chest, back and hands, and although the patient may experience a hot sensation upon application, the treatment should be comfortable with very little peeling afterwards.
